Corfe Castle was once a royal castle and historically a very important site. Therefore the village is surrounded by a vast network of footpaths and bridleways. The views over Corfe Castle village and the lovely Purbeck stone cottages are beautiful and well worth the (sometimes hilly) stomp.

From West St Car Park to The Common:
Corfe Castle Common lies at the end of West St, from here you can enjoy walks from Corfe Castle to Kingston, Church Knowle, Swyre Head, Kimmeridge and through the rolling countryside surrounding the villages. Here are some links to a few i recommend:
